TRAVIS Testing System for Rheological Behaviour of asphalt TSRST for Low temperature cracking and properties by uniaxial tesion tests
consisting of a testing machine integrated in conditioning cabinet as well as Windows control and evaluation software. The testing system is prepared for specimen 40 x 40 x 160 mm and supports tests
- uniaxial tensile test 8.1 (UTST)
- cooling down test with disabled linear expansion 8.2 (TSRST)
- relaxation test 8.3 (20-6010 Relaxation test installation required in addition) (RT)
- retardation test 8.4 (20-6020 Horizontal Test Frame as well as 20-6050 Test Frame Extension required in addition) (TCT)
The testing machine consists of a rigid test frame with electronic load cell for tension and compression and is installed in the conditioning cabinet. The drive is effected with a precision spindle gear box with stepper motor drive. The displacement measuring is carried out through four transducers mounted on special brackets being indiffernt towards temperature and are not changing their lenghts under temperature influence. The condition cabinet is equipped with an observation window and is controlled together with the testing machine by computer and software included in the delivery programme. Inside the conditioning cabinet as an option a second TRAVIS test frame 20-65300 can be installed and being operated by the existing control system. Included in the price is a one day training in our factory for the use of the machine and software as well as the calibration of load, displacement and temperature.
In addition we recommend a detailed training into the process engineering and test procedure by an external expert. This will be invoiced in addition and can be organized by us on request.
